Form 15, RPEQ, and electrical as-built drawings
A Form 15 is a compliance certificate issued by a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). In electrical projects, it is commonly required for certain commercial, industrial, or regulated works as part of project handover.
As-built drawings often support this process by documenting what was installed on site and allowing the engineer to review the completed works against relevant standards.
Certification is not automatic. It depends on the scope of the works, the information available, site evidence such as photos, and the engineer’s professional review.
For contractors, issues usually arise when certification is left until the end of the project. Missing photos, incomplete mark-ups, or unclear drawings can delay handover.
Where Form 15 or RPEQ involvement is required, we help coordinate that pathway early so documentation aligns with what is needed for engineering review.
